This song was one of the first ever written - I think EV was only about 15 when she started it. The first and third verses were based on a dream, and the second verse was heard in a dream after writing!

I once had a dream you were trapped in my pocket
I fed you dead flies
just to keep you alive
but now you have gone, I still keep your hair in a small golden locket.
